He will in due time, bro. Can he get a chance to win the lineal throne first? You know, so people can't say "Oh he wasn't even the real MW champ, just a paper titlist, ya know?"

It would take a master boxer to avoid or nullify golovkin's power for 12 rounds. In my opinion only andre ward has the skills necessary maybe a healthy martinez. But i just dont see anybody else who can do it.

Slow in both hand and feet, defense is poor, not a good counter puncher, looks poor off the back foot.

He's solid in a lot of area's but not really overly good in too many.

He cuts off the ring well, has quite good footwork, chin looks good, punches hard obviously.

He could use a little bit more head movement, but I think overall his biggest weakness is something he can't fix.. foot and hand speed although I think his right is deceptively fast at times.

He's a little too patient and methodical, which allows movement to freeze him. His defense isn't bad, but it's not great either. He isn't fast, so someone with speed can beat him to the punch. He's neglected his body punching the last two fights and done too much head hunting, which he needs to make sure doesn't become a habit.

He's still a pretty good fighter, who might prove to be really good. It will take a really good fighter to beat him. I think he's the best currently at 160.

I don't think his defense is poor, he does a decent job parrying and taking punches on his gloves or arms. I also think he shows little to no respect for the power most the fighters he's fought bring to the table. That might be a bad habit in the ring with someone who can hurt him, time will tell.
