Me personally, Vanes really hasn't accomplished much. I thought he was competitive in the Lara fight, I think I might've had him up at the time of the stoppage, but other than that, I feel like Vanes who

Shot, past prime, fell off, not the same, ect all mean the same thing to me.
I don't get into that NSB word play nor do I know the definitions you guys have for each individual word on here.
Again, Ouma was nowhere close to how he was when he was at his best when he fought GGG. Nowhere close even with that performance against Vanes.

I was just thinking about this match up a few days back. I would definitely be interested in Kirkland vs Golovkin. Anne transforms James into a different kind of man when she's with him and he's like a freight train. I think Gennady would have to deal with adversity in this and have to address the question of what happens if the guy in front of me not only doesn't fall when I hit him, but answers back with serious firepower of his own?

He then fought Joey Gilbert in his next fight and looked pretty damn terrible.

You seriously don't see the difference in the two? Shot is Roy Jones. JAMES Toney. Etc. Past prime are guys that are past their BEST days. Doesn't mean they suck. Pacquiao is past prime. Hell, Mayweather is probably past prime as well.
I feel like you're putting a lot of weight on Vanes Matrison. Maybe Vanes got dropped because he flat out ****** at the time... IDK
Either way, GGG fighting Ouma like he did isn't impressive...
Now you can sit here and say Ouma was still good because of how he fought Vanes, but I can easily say "Who the heck is Vanes".
BTW, if you have to refer to amateurs to prove how legit Vanes was, then that's a problem

Bernard Hopkins was not beaten by a Saul Roman equivalent like Ouma.
Anyway Kirkland > Stevenson. You need balls to have a chance against GGG.
