What I'm saying is when Vanes fought Ouma, he had done absolutely nothing in the division, which is true.

Now what you're talking about happened several years after the fact (i.e. Vanes-Lara).

And yes, I had Lara-Vanes fairly close. What happened was all you guys that advocated Lara almost had to eat your words and you weren't expecting that hence saying Lara was clearly winning at the time of the stoppage, when he wasn't.

He was coming on strong and taking over the fight but Vanes won the early rounds in my book

This is what you're doing though. You're bringing up the Golovkin Ouma fight which is not relevant today. I don't think GGG was even with Sanchez yet at that point.

No, go back and look at my original post that started this convo about GGG-Ouma. I know GGG isn't that same and I would never bring up a fight several years ago to discredit a fighter, especially when they're more polished today.

All I said was, I didn't know how he struggled with Ouma. That's it; I never used the Ouma fight as an indicator to how Kirk-GGG would go

yeah, Abel was. they got stuck at the airport for a long time and other issues. triple G wasn't 100% for that fight. he's been his trainer since before whenever that fight he had in Kazikhstan.

No Stevens didn't throw enough. When he did he was successful. But he shelled up for the other 85% of the fight. Good way to lose, which he did.

Arguing aside, Kirkland is a beast and it will be interesting to see how GGG deals with such relentless aggression. In fact it Would be interesting to see how ANYONE deals with Kirkland. Lara, Mayweather, CaneLOL, Quillin, etc.

do you want floyd to fight lara or not. what excuses do you have to prevent the fight from happening? should he fight khan or lara?
