Probably not at the moment, better to add someone like Ward or Klitschko into that list - both with more than their fair share of haters!

Not at all. Sportfans are all the same no matter what sport especially when it comes to individual sports. I'm a big fan of tennis and go to any tennis forum and there are just as many haters and fanboys that you find in boxing. Fans talk trash and put down worldclass players for no reason all the time.....and The Rafatards Fedtards and Djokovic fantatics are some of the most annoying people out there and they can not be objective whatsoever.

Just strange, could it be jealousy from some fans that boxers achieve what they could not and there is a sense of clinging on to any potential criticism? I think definitely this is the case in some quarters.
Could also be the aggressive nature of the sport. It's, in a sense, war; and you end up feeling obligated to choose a side.

Plus, it could also be that it is very common on televised cards to see a pre-fight interview with fighters more so than other sports. And the sport also allows for much more personality while in the ring, ie temperament, reactions to adversity, and showboating.

And, considering the violent nature of the sport, it is the essence of masculinity. In the sense that no one wants to be the weaker man. So, when someone loses, they get more of an opportunity to be judged on how they handle a loss. For instance, how Donaire got crucified after the Rigo fight, although his shoulder injury was legitimate... having needed surgery within the week.

A fighter who gets KTFO will probably become a joke a NSB.

Hmm, I don't know about that - Tennis was a great example I was thinking of myself - I don't really go on any specific forums but on general sport sites or Facebook or whatever, there are clearly those cringeworthy fanboys, but their arguments are more into who is superior between them or is the GOAT, and generally hate is for guys right at the top of the sport - Nadal, Djoko, Federer, Murray...in boxing it's a lot worse, IMO.

It's just comical that most posters here spend all their time hating on a certain individual instead of supporting their favorite fighters. Now for the most part its these dudes being insecure theres just no other way to put it. Like some have said its an individual sport which makes it easier than a team sport even though guys like Lebron, Brady, Ronaldo have their group of haters for no apparent reason as well.

I've also noticed it's a form of retaliation when a certain fighter seems to be a threat to their favorite boxer they seem to feel insecure that someone might pose a threat and focus all their attention on bringing down said fighter. There's certain guys that warrant the hate with their way of carrying themselves, but when other fighters who are respectful and truly dedicate themselves to the sport get hated on it's just absurd. These always seem to be the reasons..."I don't hate (Insert Fighter here) I just can't stand his fan"…" He only fights bums I just want to see him against a competitive fighter"…

At the end of the day its human nature as Men to hate on another mans success and boxing as an individual sport makes it easier to focus on a single person.

No doubt...the thing is - you say it's picking a side - often times the hated on fighter will not have his opponent particularly supported, the haters just want him to lose, for no objective reason.

Boxing has always had top banter and fans have been very critical of fighters, but this massive influx of racism and hate on internet boxing forums can be traced directly back to globalization and Manny Pacquiao's rising stardom. Even Mexicans vs Ricans was never as hateful prior to 08/09.

Highest KO percentage / ratio in Middleweight history. Deal with it.
