****** post here..anyone who was,is a boxer,or been in a street fight where they got caught on the chin or over the ear knows you get stunned,it doesnt take a genius to understand that, ortiz got hit wit a massive shot and got hit behind the ear,10 seconds is insufficiant to recover from a blow like that...while so called boxing fans critisize ortiz, hes finacialy secure while sum of these fans have no job and no money trying to find ways to make ends meet.....something to think about haters!!

Victor won't retire because he's still young and will regret 10 years down the line walking away from the sport that fills his pockets. What I suggest and think he will do is fly under the radar and get back in the ring soon even if it's some bum that makes Collazo look great. If he can come back and get two wins under his belt by the end of this year then maybe a Khan matchup could happen (Khan will get KO'd or TKO'd by Mayweather). He needs to stop talking a big game and reinvent himself so that maybe he can be back on top in 2015 or 2016. Maybe Keith Thurman will take a fight with him.

Ortiz needed to fight a tune-up, Collazo is not a tune-up. Same with Hatton on his comeback, he too needed a tune-up and Senchenko wasn't it. You don't match yourself hard if you've been out of the sport for the best part of two years or more.

In the beginning Ortiz had it all, great trainers, great management and a great future. Too bad that wasn't enough.

Maybe it was desire, maybe heart but something was lacking.

Too busy running marathons, dancing with tarts on television and shit. Ortiz should quit because he's pretty good at that.

that was just pathetic Ortiz is not built for this sport he could have stood up and kept fighting the minute announcer called it he was up on his feet congratulating Collazo

smh if only someone like Josesito Lopez had the talents and power that is wasted on Ortiz

LMFAO! Him and Mundine, both delusional mediocre boxers, except Collazo is slightly better.
