I'm not a pro boxer getting paid millions to take punches, am I? If I was and I got KTFO by one shot from Luiz ***in Collazo then I'd happily let you call me a bum!
That's b.s. And you know why? The answer is in the comment you already made... "I'm not a pro boxer getting paid millions to take punches.." That's right. And if you WERE, you would definitely not be happy if 'fans' called you a bum.

He stood up pretty much as soon as the fight was over and walked over to Collazo to congratulate him.

      He clearly quit here.

There was 1 second left in the round. All he had to do was stand up and no doubt the ref would have at least given him the chance to go to his corner. If he couldn't have continued after that the ok he was shook. But the fact that he didn't even try and get up even though the ref was yelling 1 second left at him and his past tells me he wanted out.

The fans would essentially be paying my wages so they have the right to criticise me if I'm a quitter who jacked it in after 2 rounds

And suddenly he's trash? I've said it many times, but it bears repeating... glad I never turned pro. What a fickle bunch of 'fans'. Anyone with a boxing brain knows Collazo is no pushover. I actually thought he won vs Berto. Anyway, maybe one day you 'fans' will learn to stop ganging up on someone who has provided you with a shiiii-load of exciting fights thru the years... win or lose. I won't hold my breath though.

Yeah well I guess we'll find out in the next couple Collazo fights now won't we mr boxing expert? So, tell us, you don't think that was a perfect punch?
True...it was a great punch however Ortiz' last 3 fights:
            L (KO-4rds) L (RTD-9rds), L (KO-2rds)

This involves a year and a half layoff between losses 2 and 3...he is done man, he doesn't have it inside - he is a tree and not a boxer; trees are pacifists, boxers, by nature are not.

****When the going gets tough, the tough, get going; the weak fold up.

Most of the miscreants on this site predicted Ortiz was gonna walk all over Collazo. Funny to read all of the misinformed opinions.

Collazo is active and underrated. For a guy with a broken jaw who had been out of the ring for 18 months it was a tough comeback fight.

Juan Diaz had the right approach to making a comeback after a long absence. Take a couple of easy opponents to get back in the groove and gradually step it up.
The betting odd's were very wide and I cannot believe people expected a close fight.

This is a guy who lost soundly to Freddie Hernandez a few fights ago.

If you can't do what Freddie Hernandez can do then just retire.

Exactly. I think Collazo's power has always been under rated. He rocked Berto a few times, and several others. But it doesn't take a huge amount of power to eliminate someone with a shot like that... although the shots behind the head did add to the damage. In no way do I negate Collazo's win. I just get sick of 'fans' jumping on a fighter when he's lost... with the rare exception being Broner.... but Broner's level of trash talk and ego made him deserve to lose. Not so with Ortiz. He's been in some he!!acious battles, win or lose.
