Could be...but I doubt it. It's not like Donaire would have any shot at stealing any limelight away from Manny. Even as a co-feature. Donaire's like 1% of the star in that country that Manny is. Hell Nonito doesn't even reside there, right? Doesn't he live year around in California?

I think it's just Arum trying to keep another bullet in the chamber for another Saturday night on HBO subscription boxing.

Sad bad true, everytime Floyd fights, they stack up the undercards knowing that without those exciting undercards he won't break as much as he has made ie; vs guerero. Good business move if you ask me.

That's because in his cards, they are always ****e. When there is a great undercard fight, people are there for it. Just look at Garcia/Matthyse.

Even as a hardcore fan, he's right, I don't give a **** about a "good" undercard. I want an exciting undercard.

Sure you can agree with him if you dont care to look more into the state of mind of fans not caring, and that is they have come to expect nothing from undercards due to promoters putting on crap cards as the years/decades went on. This didn't happen from no where, and it shouldn't be the accepted norm unless you dont want the sport to rise to the heights it was before.

I was going to show disgust, but then I realized he's probably right. Legitimate boxing fans are the only ones who care about the undercard, even when it's a really good one. I remember asking people about the Matthysse-Garcia undercard and they said they didn't even watch it nor knew who they were. But they all watched Canelo

Guess i'm the 10%. I'm not buying a PPV just for one fight, heck I can download it later. The undercard heavily influences whether or not i'll purchase a PPV. Bob just trying to justify his lack of talent on his roster and his garbage undercards.
