The real reason why Gary Russell Jr. Doesn't have a title yet.

(INFORMATION) Have you ever wondered why Gary Russell Jr doesn't get the big names? Russell is not signed to a promoter, He is only managed by Al Haymon. Promoters are hesitant to put him in against their stars because he isn't tied to their company. Russell wants to be able to fight who ever where ever. The fear that Russell could take a belt from Golden Boy over to Top Rank or reverse is hampering his career.

I thought he was with GBP.... that's interesting.

Are there any Al Haymond fighters in Top Rank? Unless you can list the Al Haymond fighters in Top Rank, I'm calling this pure BULLSHYT.

They didn't hesitate to make Mares vs Gonzales, Gonzales could easily fight Donaire and lose the belt, why didn't they use that excuse used then?

TBA has too much heart thats why. More will than Bradley. He's gonna need to break TBA down for the next 48 rounds or so before he can get him out of there.

Hell, i'm just gonna call TBA Tim Bradley Alternate

If I'm not mistaken, his promoter is still Dibella.

Yup. 50 cent tried to sign him a year ago but he doesn't want to be tied down with a promoter. That's why he was calling out Juanma all of last year.

I wonder if GBP will do his purse bid for the Lomachenko/Salido winner though.

                    Makes some sense now.

I'm sure he was on a TR card once and I presumed he was with TR, then saw he was on a GBP card and was confused.

Also explains why he's done nothing so far in his career.

You need a promoter in Boxing at the start of your career that's just common sense.
