Yeah and Roger Federer would get smashed if he played professional squash.

Doesn't make squash any good though.

There is nobody in the general stratosphere of a Floyd Mayweather in terms of overall quality as an athlete or "practitioner of the arts" in the UFC. Not even close regardless of what Boxing vs. MMA arguments are all lamely comprised of. For that reason alone it's not a discussion. These MMA people do enjoy flattering themselves..

Well duh... the same would happen if an MMA guys tried to face Floyd in a boxing match.

If Floyd faced Jose Aldo he would get taken down and submitted or take several devastating kicks.

Similarly if Aldo went to box Floyd in a boxing match his face would look worse than Gatti's.

Obviously two different sports, if you have no ground game you will lose in MMA.

But on the same note tell me one UFC fighter who would do well in the ring against a c level pro boxer.

I don't agree with that. Mayweather isn't as good an athlete as GSP, for example, but GSP can't specialize in boxing. That's why each do what they do - Mayweather would be a crappy MMA fighter and GSP would be a crappy boxer.

What does the UFC stand for, or more precisely why does a punk like White get to talk like he has any real meaning?
