Sure his workrate could of been higher but that is easy to say isn't it? You're not the one in front of Kovalev, a guy who puts his shots together well with extreme power who has actually killed someone in the ring.

I thought Agnew boxed well. He didn't run, he wasn't intimidated.
His defense was solid and he stuck to a good gameplan and made Kovalev work - more than we are used to seeing anyway.
Bit too safety first but I can't really blame him & he is primarily a counterpuncher.

His gameplan was probably to come on strong down the stretch when Kovalev lost some steam.

The kid has a solid skillset & he did far better than Cleverly, Sillakh & Campillo! - It might not count for much but that has to count for something, right?
Enjoyed it, consider me a fan.
Sillakh won a round, Agnew didn't. He survived longer granted, but I'd really need to see him against someone else. Hopefully he can recover and get another fight, felt bad for him in there in the last two rounds.

Two fights, one war and one masterful performance later... I honestly have no clue. To me this is a 50/50 fight this time around and about as even as it can possibly get.

I'm a fan of both guys too so I don't even have one to root for. Although I must say I am slightly leaning towards rooting for Bradley, I became a huge fan after the Prov fight.

Dunno who will win tho. Can't make a prediction
Pac will bring it but it looks like Bradley is running the show and has Roach and Pac doubting his own chances. People don't realize how smart Bradley is...the guy is pretty intelligent and he knows how to study the tactics of his predecessors. I believe he has studied the tactics of BHOP heading into fights and is executing those tricks of the trade very well.

Punchers gotta stick together! For those who aren't already aware, Stevens has a stay-busy fight next Friday on NBC.

How is Agnew a thug??? Absolutely nothing he did pre or post fight was thug like in any way shape or form. The only explanation for that comment is that you think every Black is automatically a thug no matter how they act.

I have to laugh at the closeted racism....And no it's not always Blacks "playing the race card" they are some real racial double standards for Blacks and Whites in both boxing and in the US in general. Not as much outright racism as in the past but definitely some real double standards.

The guy was a racist troll, he doesn't think anything, he was just trying to wind up the black posters. I wouldn't assume he was white, perhaps he is, but most of the racial issues on NSB have been between Mexicans and Blacks.

So stop being a moron since I called you out in another thread for making ****** comments during a fight that you were clearly not watching.

way to sporadic. He would be so much better if he went there constantly.
It's alot harder to go to the body with hooks against southpaws...The angles make it awkward and harder to do unless you can get your opponent squared up against the ropes.

Kovalev used plenty of straight body punches in this fight (including the finishing punch) but he didn't throw that many hooks....Which is understandable as like I said it's considerably harder to do against a southpaw.

Notice how Floyd almost always just throws straight right hands against southpaws....He almost never throws hooks to the body.

Agnew went to hospital with a suspected broken rib and a broken nose. Kovalev went for cuts (as per Dan Rafael's twitter).

Curtis is always a champ with that shirt on. Great photo anyway.
