Damn, that's painful to read. I thought that, beyond the boxing persona, he was probably at least a decent guy. But, as someone who has been very involved in fundraising for various charities, reading "what have they done for me" is hugely disappointing. How small minded. I want to still like him but that's hard to get over.

I don't know what ever made you think that he was "quite a decent guy". He's never done anything to make ME think that. I've always realised that he has a real persona, which this topic has just shown, and a few phoney covers which he switches on and off according to his immediate feeling at that time. Even those, he's never been able to successfully put across owing to his ego and ****** imprint, which are written in mile high letters all across him.

He's completely narcissistic and more than likely a bit crazy, made even more so by the adulation he gets from ignorant half-wits, like those on this site.
