That's pathetic when comepared to fellow amatuer stars such as Rigondeaux and Lomachenko. In Rigondeaux's 12th fight, he fought a guy considered one of the 3-4 best fighters in the sport. Lomachenko is fighting arguably the best fghter in his division in only his second pro fight. And it ain't like GGG is a spring chicken. This cat is almost 32yrs old. So I don't understand spoon feeding this muthaf.ucka. I love his skill set and his power is legit. But its something very suspect about this sum-b1tch. There's no logical explination for him having his ass wiped at this stage of a career nearly 30 fights deep.
As simple as that, Golovkin's level of competition cannot be defended.

A Kirkland fight, at this stage of GGG's carreer (he's almost 32) makes no sense either, he needs some good wins and fast if he wants to be more than a beltholder.

GGG so fake, says he will fight anyone between 154-168 then called on it won't fight, always going around saying no one will fight him what a bunch of baloney..I do think GGG can fight but time to prove it...

GGG is getting stale, time to fight some legitimate fighters.. even if they are at 168 like Stieglitz etc..

SO HBO clearly doesn't want to jeopardize this by putting GGG in with someone who can beat him-especially given their main fighter saw a huge drop in sales/ratings (the next week) after the JMM ko.
I agree with you this guy is budget bonanza, except I want them to find him some legit competition at 160 or 168 cause I do think he can fight..we just need to see against some better competition..

What? You mean there is no offer? No deal on the table?

I'm quite sure Ward is looking for fights given his promotional problems, and right now he is correctly considered the bigger name and would be able to dictate trms and take the lions share of the purse...Ward needs to grab what he can now (he's already talking about retirement) - for Golovkin tho, Ward may be the most difficult fighter he'll encounter in his career, for that kinda fight, you want the right kinda money and right now he ain't gonna get it.

I think 'Dre's just gonna have to wait for this one...good to know he's interested tho.
You see. Ward has been whining in the media over and over again, how the top SMW's all mention his name saying they want to fight him and Ward subsequently claims that no fooers has been given.

So surely Ward isn't like that himself. Surely he has sent an offer to GGG to go with this new piece of whining.

              I'm guessing the offer was:

              Split: 90/10 for Ward
              Venue: jOakland
              Officials: Appointed by Goosen.
Options: Ward is to get options on GGG's next 3 fights.

They eagerly await GGG's response for this non-negotiable offer.

                Then what did he say?
The thread is for: "Andre Ward is Ready, Says Gennady Golovkin is Not"...

                Basically this should result from Ward's interview with The Ring magazine here: http://http://r i n g t v .craveonli...carl-froch-ggg

                Watch it...
Ward is relaxed as usual... He only says: If he continues to win and if I continue to win, in a year from now is a bigger fight...

(I'm not a Golovkin fan per se... But I like the "Soviet old school of boxing" and I think that a clash with the North American school would result in good showdowns...)

Boom!!!....a point I been trying to make for a minute!!...dudes be trying to put other fighters from LOWER weight classes on blast like they're obligated to fight each other....Ward got Nelo fever....I thought the king was bigger than that....Triple G was doing the same thing a while back as well....the game changing and I'm not feeling it

                    • Ward is extremely gifted (even if he's a one handed fighter); he's very intelligent also... Unfortunately he's so injury-prone -- exactly because he makes huge efforts in order to hide the fact that he can't use his right hand properly...
                      Please imagine a both-handed Ward...
