Whats the Mayweather effect? You do know Mayweather moved up from 130-154 right? You can't really compare the two. Floyd cleaned out the 130lb division and then he moved up for bigger fights and more money. Ward has cleaned out the division and refuses to move up. Now he is spouting this nonsense of fighting Groves in the UK when he refuses to fight Froch there but is crying because Froch is taking the JCC jr fight from him. Ward is a good fighter with a lot of skills but he lacks business sense and courage to fight outside his comfort zone.

Ward is starting to lose the plot, he doesn't know if he needs a shave or a shit.

Acceptable fight. But I really don't understand Ward's desire to stay at 68. Especially with 75 being as hot as it is. Is waiting around a year and a half to two years to beat up GGG worth wasting his prime years fighting relative stiffs? At least stiffs compared to him. I personally don't think so. But its up to him.

That would be a terrific move on Ward's part.

If he waits for Stevenson and Kovalev to fight, he can take the winner and get all the prestige.

It serves no purpose to fight Froch again. He beat him easily with one arm in a snoozefest. Groves however arguably bested Froch and established himself as one of, if not the top contender to Ward. Groves is a acceptable fight.

Sad to see a p4p champion having to call out challengers. Guess that what you get though for being boring as sht

Good point. But Stevenson doesn't seem to be all that excited about fighting Kovalev. So if that's Ward's plan. He may be waiting awhile.

That's only one fight and one payday. If he fights Stevenson and Kovalev separately that's two high profile fights and two paydays.

He said before he wants to finish at heavyweight, so I guess he better start getting upwards.
