I last saw Gamboa at The One presser here in Miami. He's a cool guy but comes across a bit cocky.

He was able to come back from all those KD's, pretty amazing stuff but he needs to watch Mikey's straight right. He gets tagged with one of those might be lights out.

Gamboa is definitely cocky, but I've always heard he's a cool guy. And, yeah, that Garcia straight right could put him to sleep, so Yuri better be razor-sharp.

I thought it was gonna be Gamboa going "FIght me maricon" or something like that the way people where referring to it but it was quite civilized exchange/call-out like gentlemen. Mikey still looked shook lol


Robert seems to be the one who does not want that fight he was back there like an excusing cheerleader making excuses for his brother who was expressing himself quite well and didn't need Robert at all.

What kind of excuses is Robert making? the only thing he said is: are you gonna show up this time around? cause we don't want to waste our time with the promotion for you not to show up.

Out of all the present cuban boxers Gamboa is my favorite, heck he is one of my favorite fighter period. one of the most exiting fighter of this era, I hope this fight do go down so that we can have a hell of a fight....I have Gamby winning verily. I have this fight about 45-55 Gamboa.

He was never even yesterday's news. He's never been taken seriously as a promoter. He's a nobody in boxing and his music is ****ing awful.

Some people here swore he was the second coming of.......as a promoter and called me an idiot for saying that you do not start this business picking a fight with GBP owne,r whose partnership with Al Haymon and Mayweather is the present and at least the near future of boxing, but some called me a hater for saying you do not count your chickens before the eggs hatched. Only thing 50 cent that made sense is "I don't know why he was here tonight anyway" referring to the question on whether the Gamboa-Garcia fight will be in MSG or not, he rejected it as a ****** move and said it will be in LA, which does make sense. Why put Garcia in NY when he's a west coast fighter and there's so many Mexican fans in the WC.

Gambia and 50 are trying to win the big lottery ticket without even paying for the ticket. Gamboa hasn't proved anything and isn't even staying busy ..he is a non factor and needs to put work in like all other good fighters.
This dude thinks he can keep standing next to 50 to earn fights...but the boxing fans and game dont care about 50.

Garcia has fought 3 times in 2012, 3 times in 2013 and already once in 2014. Gamboa once in 2012, once in 2013 and no fight this yr....c'mon man, he didn't even make it to the big leagues to be fighting 1 time a yr. He has become Joan Guzman...Garcia got some names on his resume too. The best guys in the class the last couple of yrs were beaten by Garcia...like it or not even if they aren't great he beat the best out there...Gamboa been talking a good game while standing behind 50... Like that means something to the boxing world..lmao

The thing is Garcia has the better promoter who can get him opponets who are ranked high enough to give Garcia some shine. Who does 50 have in his camp to give him that same shine?

Yuri is doing what all the fighters of the past have done and fighters in the future will continue to do. Demand a fight, confront whom they want to fight. Gamboa was tauted as a shooting star but for some reason even before 50 cent his career stalled. After he beat DeLeon he should have lined up to fight the best.

I go with Gamboa on this one. When he is on the guy is very dangerous and has one ko power, his punchs don't seem forced like with Garcia.
