How the Ped one still has a belt is beyond me, he was drugged up for the Khan fight and only the WBA stripped him? Sad state of affairs.

He's not the real champion, Danny Garcia is the champion having beaten Amir Khan and Lucas Matthysse who both should've walked away with the IBF belt after fighting PEDerson.

There's only one fight left at 140 for Danny Garcia right now, and that's Ruslan Provodnikov.
I find it amazing that some proven PED users (like Peterson, Berto, Mosley or Salido) are given a pass by most fans because they are "good guys" and "people's champions", while others are labeled "roids cheats" without ever testing positive.

Seriously we all should have seen this coming. This was the fight Golden Boy wanted to make, instead of Matthysse that's why they put in that bulls*** 141 pound catchweight clause. Danny Swift spanks him, gets him out in five rounds.

Belt is irrelevant. Dierry Jean was the IBF mansatory and Peterson beat him.

So regardless, Peterson would be Garcia's IBF mandatory.

This is a good fight. I can't believe I see hardcore boxing fans using triangle theories.

It is a bit sad..I personally love this fight,Peterson vs Garcia sounds like fireworks tbh..I kinda wanna see this fight, you know what's funny tho??If you rewind about a yr ago..Before Matt's fought Peterson, most was picking Peterson to beat Garcia..Now tho,Peterson is not good enough and should not get a chance to fight Garcia??Rubbish..I'm all for one last big fight for both guys at 140lb..I wonder will this fight will be held if it get's made..

            If in NYC,I'm in there..

First of all I hate cheats. I never was a fan of Peterson. But I began to like him when I watched him beat Amir Kahn. I seen him as a hard worker and someone who wasn't that talented but overcame adversity. Once I found out he was a cheat I lost respect for him. So I rooted for Matthsye and knew he would win anyway.

At this point he has to do more than beat some unknown guy from Canada to get a shot at Garcia. I see Peterson as a guy that doesn't do anything great and doesn't do many things good. But Im sure he is a hard worker which is part of what got him where he is. He should fight someone else notable before getting his shot at Garcia.

Matthysse style is all wrong for him. I'm a Peterson fan and I even knew he had little chance in that fight.

Peterson won a fight that he is suppose to win. He has a belt , no matter how he got it, fairly or not, he has a belt and in boxing a plastic belt from any corrupt organization is worth money. Garcia will KO Peterson, Peterson gets hit to easy.

I was betting on him lasting the rough early rounds and making a good fight of it. I admit to a little bias when it comes to Peterson though, it comes from years of defending him when everyone acted like he was a bum.
