Yeah, that would be kind of a waste of a fight.

Peterson showed a better defense than recently and was determined and was in the zone tonight. He and Garcia would make for a good action fight.

Danny is an easy fighter to like, but people need to stop acting like he is going to have an easy fight against everybody. Danny practically NEVER has easy fights. In kayoing Khan he had to lose the first three and a half rounds to catch him, his first fight with Morales was very competitive, closest he came to beating up and knocking out a live opponent with no trouble was Zab Judah, and we all know how that turned out. And while he deserved the nod against Lucas, he needed a swollen shut eye and a lot of low blows to win a close decision.
Danny has proven to be the man to beat at 140, but he isn't some second coming of Manny or Floyd that is gonna have easy nights out against high level fighters on a regular basis.

He usually starts slow, trying to move and box rather than move inside like he's great at.

Pretty decent odds Garcia would hurt him early and finish him. I don't think it happens though, I think Peterson survives some early trouble and loses a decision in a damn good fight.

Since Garcia isn't moving up anytime soon I wouldn't mind seeing them after Garcia next fight.

Lamont Peterson the drugs cheat doesn't deserve the payday or the shot.

He's not the real champion, Danny Garcia is the champion having beaten Amir Khan and Lucas Matthysse who both should've walked away with the IBF belt after fighting PEDerson.

There's only one fight left at 140 for Danny Garcia right now, and that's Ruslan Provodnikov.
