Why is it some fighters get hyped up on here before they do anything?

I don't get it. You can't hype a quality fighter after seeing him demolish opponent after opponent? When is the proper time to "hype" a fighter?

When someone beats a top 3 guy in a division no triangle theories no bull****. I would take an UD over the top guy in a division over knocking the fk out 5 top 20 opposition any day. That's the definition of hype when people count a lower tier fighter over the top guy just because he has been putting mediocre competition to sleep. I will take the 3 last Stevenson fights, of Bellew and the Chad Dawson K.O and Cloud win over the last 4 Kovalev fights combined.

I admit I rather watch Matthysse, GGG, Kovalev, over Terrence Crawford but that's about it.
Terrance Crawford is pretty hyped himself though. People just don't like him as much because he's not exciting.

When you are a power puncher you tend to always get overrated on this site. Except if you are American.

Keith Thurman? Not saying he's overrated but he gets plenty of hype.

It's just the foreign countries are producing more ****ers.

Nowhere near as hyped as GGG, Kovalev and Lucas was.

He's not knocking fighters out quite as early in fights either though. However, it won't be long before Keith's the guy they want up against Mayweather.
