Groves should take whatever split he can get to make this fight. There is way more money post a Froch ko than any other fight out there for him.

If Froch wants to have domestic fights with scrubs like Groves he can do a farewell tour in his home country so I can ignore it.

He needs to vacate his worthless belt and fight Chavez Jr. Groves is a nobody and Froch's belt is a joke as long as Andre Ward is the champion at 168.
Ha, tried to red k you for this bull**** but I accidentally greened you. It's still a bullsh* post though. Pull your head out of your arse.

Froch's scared, he should just go fight Chumpez and get it over with before Ward fights him.

19,000 tickets sold in half an hour and it was PPV TV fight. If everything goes well the rematch could do 80,000 and approach the 1 million mark on PPV.

In terms of spectator interest, a rematch is one of, if not the biggest fight in 2014 globally.

Surley based on the fact Groves was punching back and Pascal took maybe 15 un answered shots in the 12th vs Bute, on that basis alone the JP-LB fight should have been stopped too....?

Groves should have been given a standing 8 count, not stopped at that stage.

What planet do you live on?

This fight won't do 80,000, unless they give away tickets. You're probably right on the PPV mark; although the first fight's figures were unspectacular.

This is coming from Hearn, not me.

We have spoken to Wembley and numerous other stadiums already – I believe this fight would draw a crowd of 70,000 or 80,000.
Welcome to my first MailOnline boxing column. This is where I’ll be sharing views and news from Matchroom Boxing and the logical place to start is the subject of a Carl Froch-George Groves re-match. It’s logical because it is a fight I get asked about every day.

Globally? The fight is big in the UK and nowhere else.
