    Almost 200 punches less.

But much of the low punch output was done in the first 3 rounds, where he couldn't get round Froch's jab. Once that was figured out, he went back to his old self throwing between 40-50 shots per round.

What are you saying to me, punk? You've never been to Haraldsborg Café, you wannabe.

You know, I might do next time I get to Copenhagen. I would like to have a few words with you.

Kessler should try going out in style against the Stieglitz-Abraham winner in Denmark.
Having him fight Abraham would be huge. I'm sure Western Europeans will go crazy for this fight and big money can be made for both fighters.

Steiglitz isn't a genuine champion, so not worth the bother. However Kessler's been a credit to the noble art & should take one last fight as to not go out on a loss. His future lays in management, promotion or training!

                    He's a top bloke.
No need to finish off a career with a win if there's no reason for you to fight anymore. If anything, retiring on a loss has a poignancy in boxing that won't take anything away from the fighter if they had a great career. If anything coming back to fight a tomato can and then retiring is worse. Retiring on a loss says you're confident and secure on how your career has gone and that you won't let a loss bring you down in your achievements as a person or boxer. Kessler at least has one win against Froch and a loss against him. No reason for him to come back if he doesn't have to. Ali, Tyson, Chavez Jr., Sugar Ray Leonard, Duran, Hagler. etc. have all retired with a loss and boxing fans usually remember them for their glorious prime performances. Kessler I feel will be remembered in a similar matter among his countrymen even if he isn't as big of a boxing legend worldwide as the boxers I previously mentioned.

Laced and Battling, did you see the interview where Kessler states that he overtrained? He was beating Groves in sparring but suddenly felt his stamina going from great to bad in a matter of days.
