He knows he easily beats a Chavez, a good name, lots of money, before Chavez picks up another loss.

I hope Vera beats Chavez, because he deserves to have 2 losses already and lost to Vera, had that have been the proper result the Froch fight would not be so tenable. So what does that say?

Groves should rematch DeGale or Anderson in the mean time.

I think this would actually be a really dumb move on Froch's part. Chavez Jr. has been regressing as a fighter but we're still talking about a guy with a granite chin and plenty of firepower. Froch doesn't have the best defense in the world so there's a fair chance Chavez Jr. could really **** him up here.

Not only that but if the fight happens in Vegas and it's remotely close then Froch will probably get robbed.

I don't think Froch can afford the embarrassment of ducking Groves only to lose to Chavez Jr. It would be a huge blow to his relevance in boxing.

Froch looked iffy against Groves because Groves is fast and moves. Chavez Jr is a bum who walks forward with no defence. Absolutely perfect for Froch.
