i suppose, but Canelo was fighting with a crazy amount of intensity. These are the type of fights that damage one's career forever.

Angulo's eye healed, but i dont think he will ever be the same after this fight.

He'll recover but he's taken a lot of beatings so I doubt he hangs around much longer.

Look at the fight again. The few times Canelo felt Angulo's power.
He hit him with MONSTROUS body shots, complete with a frowning mad face and very bad intentions.
He took Angulo's power away early.
Every time he felt something, he went straight to his body to take the power away.
I'm soo impressed with Canelo tonight, he looked damn good. Defense offense movement. everything. he truly learned from the Floyd loss and looked like he took a few moves from him also.

One way traffic but Weeks could of found a better time to stop the fight or gave him the rest of the round. To stop it off one punch which didn't even hurt the guy was damn bad timing - I think Angulo had just landed a nice right to the body too.

Bad timing, should of warned him to show something at least.

What's the difference? Stopped is stopped. And the fight was much more competitive than tonight's fight.

Because if Angulo was pulled out at the end of the round no one would be complaining so Pauli's point is irrelevant.

So much back and forth over a non-point, obviously the timing of the stoppage wasn't a good one by the ref he was going to get pulled out the end of that round.

Malignaggi hit the nail on the head. He was like, I'd be pissed off too but on the other hand you had Mago, the HW, who was allowed to finish a fight that he had no chance of winning and then he collapsed after the fight. He had to go to the emergency room and will never fight again, will never be the same man again. Weeks had seen Angulo take damage for 9 straight rounds and had no chance of winning barring a KO and that wasn't going to happen. It's better to let him go home to his daughter, whom he obviously loves so much.

IMO, Angulo got trashed for the entire fight....it could have been considered a "premature" stoppage but he had little to no chance to win and Canelo had destroyed his face.

i think the timing and the betting of over/under rounds is what people mean by fixed. No one is f-cking saying canelo was in on the fix or needed a fix to win. You people know f-ck all about ********.
