Yep! There is no better opponent to do all of those things than Canelo at 154, Molina would have made it harder due to his style, Lara likewise, Kirkland would probably be a similar style to angulo for Canelo but a bit more harder fight. This was just the perfect type of opponent for Canelo, if they can keep him just fighting styles like this one then he can be on top of the P4P list in no time.

He had 8 or 9 rounds to fight back and he stood there like a Rios. He didn't win a single round. Maybe 1 or 2. The fight was uncompetitive and Canelo was taking his best shots. He had no chance and continuing will just give him further unnecessary damage.Comment

Just think for ****s sake. Use your brain.
If you'd seen Angulo, this is how he fights.
Hard seeing Angulo so broken up by it though. Anyway, Canelo fought well, still looked his usual vulnerable self at points, but fought really well. No one else has had that easy a time with Angulo, and he fought the perfect game plan. Backed him up, opened strong to take the steam out of him, and also boxed just enough to keep him off and keep him resetting. Good show.Comment

That uppercut that Canelo threw was telegraphed as ****, Jimmy Johns would have made it to your crib and back by the time it reached its destination. He was DONE at that point, just a walking dead man. Don't put this dude in a hospital bed for our bloodthirsty enjoyment. He needed to be saved from himself.Comment
