Yea, but that was a significantly bigger event.
IMO, not a good idea for PPV right now, especially with it being in front of 2 other bigger PPV's and Canelo supposedly having another in June....too many damn PPV's!
Mayweather has two
Pac maybe has two, but at least one
Sergio/Cotto
And Canelo wants all three on PPV this year....wtf?
You mad bro?
What's there to be mad about? He's simply pointing out that it's not a good idea.

I asked Richard Schaefer if Canelo was going just be on PPV from this point forward, he answered,''Not necessarily" #BOXING
If this does under 500k like I said, they would be dumb to have him headline a PPV again.
It depends on the opponent. Canelo vs Cotto would have done around 1.5 million. Canelo vs Angulo does under 400,000 ppvs. I say 280,000.
What if it makes more than Pacman vs Rios? it is possible I think Canelo has the Fan base to back him up, I'm still debating wether to buy it or not....we'll see when is one or two weeks away....under card is solid thats for sure.

Undercard is not that great. Figueroa in a mismatch, Santa Cruz probable mismatch. Both Molina and Charlo usually hard to watch. Arakawa Linares is cool, but that comes free
Anything under 500k is a flop. That's how much Chavez Jr vs Martinez did right?

anything under 500k is a flop? then I guess cotto flopped atleast three times against mayorga, judah and mosley, against Judah it was between 250-300,mosley 360-400 and mayorga 200-250k...and those opponents of cotto were well known,ex champs, angulo isn't like mosley or Judah..if canelo brings in 300k I think it's good, its about what cotto did against judah
