Yea, but that was a significantly bigger event.
IMO, not a good idea for PPV right now, especially with it being in front of 2 other bigger PPV's and Canelo supposedly having another in June....too many damn PPV's!
    Mayweather has two
Pac maybe has two, but at least one
    Sergio/Cotto
And Canelo wants all three on PPV this year....wtf?

I think Canelo needs to stay on the undercards for awhile yet, until we see what he becomes.

It sounds like this is more about the money than giving the fans the best fights featuring the best fighters. Alvarez is a good fighter who was pumped up to be the next big Mexican star. He fell woefully short of that task against Mayweather. Is he still the big draw that he was before that fight? Doubtful. Angulo is another good fighter who for one reason or another has stalled in reaching the next level. At this point, neither of them is a PPV caliber fighter.

Going to be a good fight, but GBP will learn after this fight that Nelo is not a ppv star. He might be a star in Mexico but that's it and they can only get away with saying his loss to Floyd "doesn't count cause Floyd's the best" for so long....

Of course he is. The kid is what, 23? (Not like I'm much older at 24) He is excited about the whole PPV idea and is optimistic like the young naive yet diva person that he is.

I will buy the PPV but then again I order every boxing PPV that comes out. I love the fight BUT again, this is not the type of fight you put on PPV. This is a solid bout that sets up a future PPV. Hopefully they price this at $35-$45 and I'll feel more comfortable with it.

Man g i wish they would price it at 44.95...we dont get boxing ppvs cheap like that anymore, every fight is over 55 bucks now,i rememeber esrlier years for good fights would be cheap, but de la hoya-mayweather made these ppv prices wut it is now,no doubt..should be 50 at the max with hd for free!
