I dont care if he quit..thing is this nobody was suppose to shine against perro and instead was dropped and it was a close fight,same reason angulo is chosen for canelo,to look good,i say it as it is,lara was supposedd to look good,great and impress and he didnt,same here with canelo,, so this nobody looks pathetic begging for a fight against canelo,he knows thats the only way he gets paid good bcuz on his own he wont make anything

Oh please. Don't act like eyes ballooning up are a frequent occurrence in boxing. Plenty of brawlers get hit flush repeatedly and their eyes don't swell up like that.

Hunter seems to have an effect on these boys. As soon as the swelling happened he called it a thumb and from that second on everyone has been calling it a thumb.

He also said Matthysse was taking something illegal and everyone took it and ran with it. Even tho the bottle was confiscated and tested.

The ring appeared to be smaller than normal but Angulo was cutting him off really well. Makes me sick to hear people call Angulo a coward/quitter, there's no way he could have fought through that injury. I'd love to see a rematch.

I personally don't fault him from quitting because his health is the main thing that is important and he gets flak because a lot of his fan boys try to slight Lara like he didn't make Angulo quit but at the end of the day Perro quit and he made a good decision because now hes is going to get a huge payday with Canelo. A lot of internet tough guys will hurl insults at fighters like calling them cowards or quitters but they won't get in the ring and take that punishment and if they did they would quit too its about being smart so I don't fault fighters who know when enough is enough this macho going out on your shield **** is how people end up with brain damage and serious physical ailments later on in life. I like Perro and I hope he has a great career and I don't judge or fault him for quitting in that fight.

nope,getting dropped and struggling against a limited fighter doesn't impress me at ALL...it's like me bragging I got in a fight with an 80 year old man and him making it a fight against me and bragging "but I still won"...the *** is that?..i'd be impressed if he did that against mayweather,yeah i'd say that guy impressed me,but against a guy like Angulo,no way,never,and if canelo doesn't win good i'll criticize him just as well because that's what Angulo is there for,to make these guys look good
