It could actually happen by Next year, IMO. If it's his last and he has a 135 this year, he could have a 140 by the end of the year, setting up a WW debut by next year. I don't know how I feel about him going all the way up there though

IMO, doesn't make sense to me if it's a belt grab. I don't think Jose Felix would be ready for this and I doubt Arum thinks he'll seriously win.
Why would Arum feed Uchiyama a prospect if Garcia is moving up?
That or he's trying to build up a WBA/WBC unification in Macao.
He's trying to build Japanese audience there with more Japanese fighters in Macao

I like Felix but I agree with you, he's not ready for Uchiyama. I still think it better than Uchiyama's two defenses before Kaneko.

I think Uchiyama would beat the s**t out of Jose Felix. I think Uchiyama beats the s**t out of anyone at 130, including Mikey Garcia.

I'd rather see Takashi Uchiyama vs. Takashi Miura II to unify the W.B.C./W.B.A. titles.

Evidently Arum wants to catch Pac on the way out to add to Garcia's resume.

Only thing I see Felix offering as trouble is movement. If Uchiyama goes to the body and invests, he could limit that and put the young man in a ton of trouble
