Why wouldn't someone give Khan credit? That would be one of the most amazing things I've ever seen.
Will you give Khan credit if he beats Mayweather?

Of course he'd get credit because Mayweather's the P4P #1 and expected to win.
Floyd's well passed his prime but like I said, he's the P4P #1 so obviously he'd get credit.Comment

I give full credit, I would even give him props if he lost in a close fight since everyone thinks he isn't going to last longComment

The poll options aren't right.
Mayweather doesn't have to be in his prime for Khan to get credit.
He's not in his prime, that's obvious. He's well beyond it and understandably after being 18 years a professional.
But he's still the best fighter in the world so you're still going to get a whole load of credit for beating him at this stage.Comment

Maybe I should have put it as 'he's still on top of his game' as opposed to prime. The poll options aren't right.

But it's a formality. The yes/no options are what should be taken into account.Comment

Yeah but getting credit for beating a prime Mayweather and this version of Mayweather are two entirely different things.
He'll obviously get credit because anyone who beats the P4P #1 is going to get credit especially if they're undefeated and on form.
But someone highlighting that he's passed prime isn't not giving credit they're stating a fact. Still get's a lot of credit on what would be a spectacular win.Comment

Even if he got a hard fought draw or lost a very close UD he would get plenty of credit from me, but I would still mock his paper chin and Floyd for not being able to get rid of him.Comment
