Old ass Morales with one eye was more competitive against Maidana and more willing to stand and trade. Heck Morales' eye was arguably worse. Ali fought and traded with a broken jaw, as did AA, Williams knocked out an opponent when his shoulder was literally hanging off.

So what Lucas had was not unusual, a fighting machine as you lot called it, like Matthysse was supposed to be, should have gone out there and fired every shot available to try and stop Garcia, his only way of winning pots round 9. But he didn't.
