I've been trying to find another video I saw (not the same opponent that's in the vid posted by TS) that showed Sergey get dropped twice, get back up wobbly and the ref stopped the fight. He actually had a Khan moment in this video. I tried searching for it on youtube in Russian using google translate, but still can't find it. Any help would be appreciated.

I know Kovalev lost quite a few times in the AMs to Korobov so maybe that was it? I recall Kovalev saying something along the lines of he was sick of getting to the finals to meet him and falling short which is why he decided to turn pro.

A lot could be mental, from the things I hear he seemed to really lack confidence before and have little faith in his power or ability.

Well I think Stevenson is the only one in the division who can land that shot with KO. The likes of Hopkins, Ward, Pascal can't do that to Kovalev.
