It was a terrible card, I had Pascal winning it pretty easily, 116-112, last 2 rounds were Bute all the way though

It was a fight between two 'fancy Dans' who didn't 'fancy the job.'

Based on his own very specific criteria Watt didn't have a prayer of being able to score that fight.

Jim Watt always favours the white guy. Forget the scorecard, his commentary throughout was horribly biased. I was watching a different fight to Watt. It's time Sky got rid of him and made more use of the better guys they have.

TBH this just goes to show the subjectiveness of a sport such as boxing. I've spoken to a couple mates who watched the fight and both of them had it way closer than me.

I honestly think it's a fireable offense. No bull****. How can you commentate on the sport professionally when you score a fight that ineptly? My 10 year old nephew would score the fight better than this dude. Hell CJ f**king Ross would score the fight better than this (well maybe anyway).

Bute damn near landed more punches in the 12th than he did in the other 11 rounds combined.

Subjectivity is a lame excuse. There are very clear ways to score a fight, and this man apparently doesn't know them.

Having it closer is one thing, but Watt had Bute winning it. That's amazing.

Yeah, Bute winning it is going a bit far but some of those rounds were damn difficult to score, Pascal would be inactive for almost 90% of the round with Bute pawing out with a jab and manouvering Pascal, then Pascal would have a burst of punches....could have been scored of Bute I guessed.

Like I said, I personally wouldn't, 116-112 for Pascal was spot on. But I can maybe, just maybe, see where Watt is coming from.
