For real though, the thought of a fixed fight here is laughable. Think about how much sense it makes. First off, we're talking about Clottey. You're telling me higher ups thought Clottey was such a threat that he would have needed to be paid off? Lmfao!! And anyway, if anything, that shell of Clottey's would have hurt Manny more than helped him. An exciting, competitive fight would have benefited Top Rank and team Pacquiao much more than a one sided, boring as f**k fight like that one was. People just got done shelling out 60 bucks for that ****. No telling how many potential PPV buyers they lost on Pac's next fight with the fresh Clottey fight memories in their minds.

Most already said it but it's just the way Clottey fights. It's the same reason he lost to Margarito when he did very well in the first half of the fight. As far as him being scared of Pacquaio, every time he touched Pacquiao he hurt him. Look at the post fight presser and you'll see the damage he was doing.

Other than Mosely, who covered up after the KD, I didn't see anyone fight Pacquiao scared. That's one of the biggest myths on this site.
