I agree that Bute was hurt by practically every single powershot Froch landed, but I think part of that can be attributed to weight draining. He looked healthier at yesterdays weighin than what he has done in recent years.

Its such an intriguing fight to me in the sense I sort of think their styles are both a bit wrong for each other. If I had more faith in Butes chin, recuperative ability I would take him to win this fight. I do think hes capable of outboxing Pascal.
I don't think Pascal is that big of a puncher myself but I just haven't seen anything from Bute to suggest he can take a good shot, recovery from one and he does everything horribly wrong when hes buzzed. Maybe the weight could help him though like you said, I mean he was very gangly at super middle.

Saw the guy took pretty decent shots against Berrio and Bika but was "on a mission" at that time. I think motivation is his chin at some point, if that makes any sense.!

That's a good sign. It means he at least wants to get back on that horse. If he won't go all "deer in the headlights" tonight I think he'll manage to get a UD.
