he'd use the ring and set traps to score points. feints, throwaway jabs, single shots in front of pivots.

i don't think he's strong enough or has a complacent opponent who could be clinched.

i'm convinced that golovkin would knock floyd out. he's just too big and durable. it would be a hell of a display if floyd were to be able to outbox him. dare i say, an "all time great" piece of boxing? i dare say it.

if floyd won, it would be the biggest win of his career, and really help his legacy.

if i were floyd mayweather, i wouldn't give a **** about my legacy. i'd already be an all time great, and rich. give me that money, and let me get out of boxing with my head intact.

The same way he dealt with anyone that presented any level of risk, he doesnt take the fight, trash talks or fully ignores him.

Even quite recently with DLH stepping up to face BH, isn't too bad an example and BH is better than GGG will ever likely be.
But we ar e talking Floyd here, one of the most cautious boxers who ever laced the gloves up, so of course its unlikely he'll face Sergio or GGG.

Its just people are trying to help his resume and telling him what he could do in his last fights. Rather than bringing 140lb fighters up to fight you, why don't you take the initiative for once and take yourself up in weight one last time if you think you can do it.
If you don't think you can do it, fair enough, and tell the world why you wont do it, as long as people are being honest to and not lied to.
Floyd probably will keep quiet about why he wont fight GGG. But Senior would probably say how rubbish GGG is and that Floyd would wipe him out. Well if that is the case put up or shut up.
Well Oscar has already had a fight at MW and at that time was much bigger than Mayweather is now .

And that fight was a joke anyway so that's a bad example.

Just name me a situation in modern history where a guy who comes to the ring at 150 lbs and has never weighed in more than 151 lbs has fought a career MW.

Pacquiao had his 8th weight class title manufactured for him. Floyd's win would be 10x greater than Pac's especially since he'd be fighting someone people feel is avoided. If I were a Floyd fan that thought he could do it, I'd want it... In all honesty though, I don't, and he gets KO'd 9/10
It's a mockery of it all if Floyd beat a weak champion in Quillin or a well past his prime Martinez to become a 6 division champion. It'd be a damn good win if he beat Golovkin but lets be real here, other than the visuals Golovkin hasn't beaten anyone. The way some of you guys sound you would think Golovkin already ran through everyone and has been reigning for a decade. Scratch all that though, at the end of the day it's already too much that he has to fight at '54, the man enters the ring weighing 150 I think some of you guys are nuts.

The only thing going for GGG is a massive size and power advantage... You're asking how does the reiging best fighter on the planet deal eith a guy whos never fought a top 5 guy in the division? Simple. Rehydration clause. Giant ring. Giant gloves. Non title 10 round fight, favorable ref, 2 judges, and does this while paying off whoever the "opponent" was to get injured all while training for GGG secretely then giving GGG one-two weeks notice THEN he potshots all night while (may)weathering the first 2-3 rounds.

                >__>... Does that sound sad to you? If it does its because that ish CAN happen. Maybe except the one-two week notice but its all feasible on the neotiating table.

Anyway... Floyd is the infinitely better fighter from what we've seen for i dunno... 15 years? Maye some day he'll show to be better, who knows but Floyd is the sure thing. GGG MIGHT not even be the best middle.

Like GGG, but the topic should ONLY be how Floyd deals with big size and power. You're not going to go from cornering Ishida and Stevens one year to having that be a legitimate tactic vs Floyd in a giant football stadium sized ring. Not at this stage in his career..

No way in hell he'd step in the ring with GGG. Pigs have a better chance of flying to the moon.

He would run and try and counter with no effect until he couldn't run anymore, which would take about 4 rounds. GGG would then start to sodomize him legally.

I honestly think Floyd would give GGG a beatdown.
