It will be that much sweeter when Cotto ends his reign and cements his legacy as one of the greatest of his era. Sad that Sergio needs to be the footnote to history, as he is one of my favorites, but sacrifices must be made in the pursuit of greatness.
You better pray his knee falls apart mid-fight like Yuri Foreman.

*A rematch with Lara, however, might be more feasible, considering Lara is managed by DeCubas’ son, Luis DeCubas Jr.

In his last fight in June, Lara rose from two knockdowns to score a 10th-round stoppage of Angulo, who was knocked out by Kirkland in the sixth round in November of 2011.

“My son manages Lara. They fought to a draw the last time. It just depends on what the purses would be,” said Luis DeCubas Sr. “As long as both fighters want it, me and my son can’t say not to it. It’s got to be the right amount of money for both guys. The fighters would have to be satisfied, you know?” -* September 16, 2013
I'm disappointed there's no Lara-Molina fight coming up. I had hoped all talk of them sharing the same manager wouldn't stand in the way. Now it turns out they didn't have the same manager at all, and that they're willing to let these guys rematch. Funny thing is, I'm not particularly going-ho on watching these dudes fight. I just feel they need to settle accounts.

He'll be kicking his ass with two healthy knees, just like he was Foreman for the first 6 rounds.

I don't think anybody is gung-ho about watching Molina vs anyone. Even his own family members are like, "Great. Guess we gotta waste Saturday night watching wrestling again!"

The people that ***** about Rigo being boring need to be tied to a chair, have their eyelids stapled to their foreheads and cheeks, mainline some meth, then forced to watch Smith-Molina on continuous loop for a month straight.

                not officially.

Also, Lara the P4P and True JMW didn't lose any rounds to angulo or was knocked down.

All that while staying reeeaaal far away from Lara.

This sounds about right . Seems like they don't want Lara having any shot at that belt . If he gets a real belt it will look too obvious when he's avoided , now he doesn't have a belt and it's used as a excuse for fighters not to face him. Pathetic

It's **** like this that make me question if it would be a better move if Rigo left Top Rank for GB. Seems to me both promoters just want to keep the Cuban fighters down and away from their top fighters.

Maybe both Lara and Rigo should start defending punches with their faces more and fight like a bunch of ****** ****s. Apparently that's what it takes to get rewarded in this sport.

I find myself asking the same thing . The way they see it is a Cuban champ is bad for business . They are clearly not interested in who the best boxer is .
