Off topic, but good to see Arakawa back in there. That fight against Figueroa was brutal. See how he looks after such a tough fight against Linares.

Charlo better not waste this opportunity cuz he definitely hasn't earned it. Maybe he'll beat Molina.....let's hope lol

Linares/Arakawa will be interesting, hopefully Linares fights smart and doesn't get cut up.

Having Molina on the undercard defeats the purpose of this ppv.

Molina is managed by DeCubas Sr. Lara is managed by DeCubas Jr.

*A rematch with Lara, however, might be more feasible, considering Lara is managed by DeCubas’ son, Luis DeCubas Jr.

In his last fight in June, Lara rose from two knockdowns to score a 10th-round stoppage of Angulo, who was knocked out by Kirkland in the sixth round in November of 2011.

“My son manages Lara. They fought to a draw the last time. It just depends on what the purses would be,†said Luis DeCubas Sr. “As long as both fighters want it, me and my son can’t say not to it. It’s got to be the right amount of money for both guys. The fighters would have to be satisfied, you know?†-* September 16, 2013
DeCubas Sr is alive? WTF I feel horrible now. I read somewhere he was dead and his son had taken over. Omg... Sheeeesh!

I see so it could be the fighter didn't agree to it or wanted more money if it was even offered.

I think even odds would be appropriate. Considering Angulo just knocked down the P4P and true JMW Champ twice and was down one point on two of the scorecards after the "freakish" ending to the fight. If anything, Canelo should be given favorable odds, as he was just "shut out" by the 147 champion, and Angulo almost defeated the true JMW champ.

I think Linares boxes circles around him for 12 rounds. Arakawa isn't going to bust Linares' face up or knock him down. Nihito is always entertaining TV though. Look forward to this fight as well.

Or the promoter perhaps. Or Showtime (which is ran by Golden Boy).

I'll hit up in your bet thread About Trillions.

Also, that little clause next to Cotto-Martinez bets, (I'll bet all my points on Martinez), is that for me?

                    Of course, baby.

I was tempted by JFSD's thread on the fight, but it wouldn't feel as good doubling up against him as it would doubling my points against you.

I'm hoping to get my points up to a respectable amount until then, so I can go all in on Sexy Serg taking down the wife & uncle beater.

                      Oh you

That's right keep saving them up.

It will be that much sweeter when Cotto ends his reign and cements his legacy as one of the greatest of his era. Sad that Sergio needs to be the footnote to history, as he is one of my favorites, but sacrifices must be made in the pursuit of greatness.
