Broner looks spectacular when he has tailor made guys standing in front of him. IE smaller, not very talented guys who he can walk down and ultimately KTFO.

But get him in the ring with anybody on a B level or higher -- and he's in trouble. Like Paulie always points out, once you get him thinking, he stops throwing. He's flat footed. He'll sit there and get unloaded on...and wait for you to get done unloading on him.

He has boxed a certain way his entire life, and it's hard to imagine him being capable of adjusting his style the way he would need to, to ever be able to make true noise at 147 or even 140.

I totally agree. Broner is a good fighter but he is the worst, most dislikeable boxer outside the ring that I have seen in a long time.

He needs to let his hands go. He's an offensive fighter.

I don't think he will be a p4p caliber guy but if he can start to think more offensively I think he can become a title holder again and land some more big fights.

Is he though? He's got fast hands when he lets them go but he's a counter puncher. Not a walk you down, aggressive offensive fighter. He's extremely selective with his shots and goes for more of a quality over quantity approach. And that's an understatement. I don't look at Broner at all as an offensive fighter.

A Broner-Maidana rematch would be awesome, I think that most of us would agree on that. If Broner beats Maidana in the rematch, then what? I don't think it's impossible. Broner is a top 4 boxer in welterweight and he has only been there for two fights. I hope he loses again, but I want to be fair and Broner has done well.

Mention 4 welterweights who got a better resume than Broner.

                    Juan Manual Marquez

Calling Broner a top 4 welter is a disgrace. Absolutely disgraceful. He went life and death with Paulie Malignaggi and got urinated on by Maidana, and you still say with a straight face that he's a top 4 welter?

Good point, I can admit when I'm wrong.
