He's mentally weak and fades late. He's so one dimensional ridiculous. After Round 4 he's so easy to adjust to and he's so inactive.

That's why I knew Hopkins would beat him easily. (Which he did in both fights IMO)

Problem with Bute is he has many of the same problems.

I thought the fight would be closer than it was though but other than that it went exactly as I expected.

Pascal was never going to blast out Bute like Froch did. Simply doesn't throw enough punches.

Stevenson is getting seriously overrated. He beat a washed up Dawson, Pascal beat a prime Dawson.

Bute and Pascal made Stevenson look like Sugar Ray Robinson tonight.

Bute hit Pascal with a couple blistering lefts in the corner in that 12th. I thought Pascal was more hurt than tired there. He is tough though and stays on his feet.

Bute finally started showing confidence late in the fight. If he would have let his hands go more the result could have been much different.

I thought he would catch him and hurt him badly with one shot at some point. Then I thought he'd finish him. To be honest, he never had Bute that badly hurt in the fight. Stunned a couple of times, but nothing more.

Pascal is just athletic and awkward. That's honestly all his strengths. Can't adjust, bad stamina, looping punches, etc. Not a great fighter, but more than enough to handle Bute tonight.

I was counting on Bute fighting gunshy and scared of Pascal's power once he felt it. That appeared to happen and not until it was too late did Bute finally open up with more than one punch.
