He should've let himself get stopped and then complain in the post-fight that Bute got lucky, blah blah blah. However, it would be cowardly to fight Bute again.

He's not even good to begin with. He was destroying Bums, and his best win was against a past his prime Glenn Johnson. Bute got exposed big time after he was TKO'ed by Carl Froch.

I gave him some credit in the 12th round. He looked like a whiter version of Joshua Clottey against Pascal in the first 11 rounds.

I still remember the ****** Butetards who declared him as the best 168 pounder a couple of years ago. He's not in the same level as Ward, froch, and even the Current George Groves.

Lucinda Bute is a bigger hype job than No championship Matthyse and Big Mouth Broner.

pretty boring fight, which didn't help with Pascal doing nothing for half of it, shoulda just finished it early n called out Stevenson.

The Takam robbery was the most noted thing tonight...
Totally BS, I don't even think Perez was clearly coasting from rounds 1 to 4 it was a thorough dominant display by Takam, he boxed smart and then he brawled he made the fight imo and perhaps he made Perez look not all that good who knows what is wrong with Perez but that ain't Takams fault.

Bute fought like he was afraid to get hurt and Pascal fought like he was afraid to gas out. The whole fight ****** until the 12th when Pascal was gassed and Bute finally went for it.

It was a ok fight,Bute had so many openings..He was just haunted by the Froch fight..Had he let his hands go in the exchanges(instead of covering up)he could have landed something meaningful in any of those rds..

Pascal better not act like he was acting in this fight with a Stevenson,or he'll be looking up at the lights..Pascal did what I thought he'd do,he thug'ed Bute and blitz him in spots..

I totally agree with Max as well..That 12th rd might have saved Bute career..He can't be scared to get hit..Sometimes you land your best counter by taking the on coming punch..There were so many openings yesterday, esp in the mid rds..If Bute just steps in and let's his hands go,he'd get the best of the exchange..It was not even like in the Froch fight..Bute was badly hurt in that fight..This he was just badly worried about getting hurt..

I'd like to see Bute one more time, give him one more chance before I say he's done..If he can get the dog to come out of him, which looked to be happening in that last rd(he needs to fight desperate early in the fight),he has to get that confidence back..Wish Bute nothing but luck..Great win for Pascal, wonder what's next for him??
