Comments Thread For: Hopkins-Shumenov Targeted For March 29th at Barclays

this is about as evenly matched a fight as you can make with a 49 year old Bernard Hopkins. He wouldn't have much of a chance against kovalev or Stevenson, but he'd beat up the fringe contenders like he did with that guy last October whose name I've already forgotten. Shumenov is a step below the top and a step above mediocre, and should give Hopkins an interesting test in the twilight of the executioner's career. I approve.Comment

Hopkins gets the easiest of the 4 champions. Shumenov was barely moving.... absolutely 0 head movement!
He doesn't throw unless he' standing still.... Hopkins is going to destroy this guy.... the hell?Comment

Seriously... Shumenov had numerous moments where he just stood there like a freaking rock... the absolute opposite you're supposed to do against him.Comment

Dude doesn't move his head, he's a statue that's flat footed and moves like he has concrete shoes... also kovacs was able to land on him pretty easilyComment
