Glovokin, why does he hit so hard? He's not that heavy or fast?

NEW YORK — Gabriel Rosado doesn’t know enough about Curtis Stevens’ skills to offer an informed prediction prior to Stevens’ WBA middleweight title fight agains
In the last paragraph GGG's rep says the gloves are the same weight but GGG has small hands so his gloves are custom fit....that's probably why his gloves look and feel different..didn't know it was legal of if that's how they are normally made so more power to Triple G.
To be clear.....I don't think his record would change or anything, just his fights would be a few rounds longer....if he had NORMAL GLOVESComment

It will be the next big thing in boxing, a punch is very much like a golf swing. It's all about recruiting the right muscles in the right order. ATM some guys just do it better naturally like GGG.Comment

It is a combination of technique,genetics/natural ability, training and intention. His intention is to hit hard and he was most likely a heavy hitter from the get go. As pointed out good biomechanics is key and he uses the ground and his whole body for maximum leverage in correct sequence. It can be taught but the naturals do it right instinctively very early on and repeat and reinforce good habits improving the correct brain ,neurone muscle connections and upgrading the muscular efficiency as a consequence getting better at doing it right where others with suspect technique repeat and groove poor technique getting better at doing things wrong.Comment
