Michalczewski wouldn't go to America and Jone wouldn't fight Michalczewski in Germany. Jones Jr. would have had his way with Michalczewski though.

I'm talking about your claim that Roy Jones was willing o travel to Germany - are you basing this on the words of Murad Muhammad?

So he gained weight when he fought?

Also how do you know he had no body fat on him, he didn't look sloppy but didn't look like Steve Cunningham either in the Ruiz fight.

So Roy was drained from having lost 10lbs he had months to lose after the Ruiz fight? Are you under the belief he was walking around at 175 his entire LHW run?

BTW I do know quite a bit about building muscle, its hard to do but taking it off is pretty easy actually.
Cutting muscle is easy? That's interesting. Sure seems like it takes something away from boxers when they do it. Oscar De La Hoya was a shell of himself when he did it. So was Chris Byrd. So was Roy Jones.

I personally believe the weight loss was secondary to his rapid aging, which no one seemed to notice. And whatever he had left was beaten out of him in that first Tarver fight.

Interesting that his steep decline also coincided with the BALCO scandal breaking

              A) I guess you never heard of Kerry Davis, HBO Vice president?? He, Jones Murad, Square Ring Inc all verified. And Peter Klaus confirmed that negotiations for a fight in Germany took place. B) You really don't have a clue when it comes to walking around weights, weigh in weights, and what happens after the weigh in. And the difference in training for a 175 pound fight and a heavyweight fight. Read what the other poster said on the last page and learn something.

He wasn't in any way connected though. The names for BALCO came out.

These young, dumb mother****ers on here don't even know what real boxing is. Sven Ottke is the best who ever lived.

You're talking absolute ****e, mate. Jones stated time and time again that he wouldn't fight in Germany, stating it would take $20 - $25 million to get him to go over there

I've no idea what you're talking about with the bolded. You're talking about him walking around at a lower weight than his fight night weight, which is obviously complete bollocks. Jones consistently weighed over the 180 mark as a Light-Heavyweight.
