Roy wasn't gonna risk an international robbery, and apparently Dariusz wasn't gonna leave his homestead either

The thing was that DM, being a superstar in Europe, would leave a lot of money behind by fighting on a Jones undercard. Nobody would do that without a significant carrot.

Well he was a superstar in Germany, not Europe. And he had other opportunities to fight Jones in the states aside from the undercard. I remember the NY Daily News giving us a weekly play-by-play on negotiations. HBO stepped in an attempt to meet with Kohl and after weeks of playing tag they decided he really wasn't interested in fighting Jones.

He was pretty wellknown in eastern Europe and poland as well...

I dont know the timeline of the Daily news articles, but I know Kohl was pissed of at Jones not being willing to commit. Maybe he got tired of playing games.

Or maybe he was happy selling Dariusz as the guy who "the best fighter in the world is scared to face." And then have him fight Jones leftovers and look horrible in the process.

Why didn't they just meet on neutral ground? Like Japan, South Korea, South Africa, or Australia.

And you're right about Andro. I don't believe they ever divulged what Jones and Hall tested positive for.
Jones said he bought what at the time was over the counter Creatine. And Hall also tested positive for something. That was the only time Jones ever tested positive for anything. They pulled Creatine off the shelves eventually.
