I think there's a chance that Cotto vs. Martinez could fall through. If that does happen then Canelo vs. Cotto is a possibility for July 26th.

If Cotto loses to Martinez on June 7th then maybe we get a Canelo vs. Cotto fight on November 22nd.

If Cotto beats Martinez then I don't think there's any chance of a Canelo vs. Cotto fight. Cotto would probably land a Mayweather rematch.

The logic that if Cotto loses to Martinez the fight with Canelo is still possible seems legit.
However one would think that if Cotto loses to Martinez badly, the offer for 10 million dollars would probably not be there.
So Cotto win or lose has to look decent against Martinez for the offer to still be that high in my opinion.

Canelo would just get bashed for fighting a guy coming off a loss(If Cotto loses to Martinez), even if he himself loses to Angulo, he'd still be called a cherrypicker, ducking Lara and Molina, 'only fights guys coming off losses'. Anti-GBP fans are ****** as f. Canelo-Cotto is a good fight, it should happen regardless of any previous outcome. It's just an attractive fight and honestly, beyond 2014 will be too late.
