Pacquiao is something else. I enjoyed watching his fights from 2000 up to the Cotto fight. his career became pretty lackluster after that.

David Diaz lost to Erik Morales (a heavily shopworn Erik Morales at that) but received a gift decision. Pure cherry-pick on Pacquiao's part.


The Margarito fight was a farce too. Even Yuri Foreman would have been a more credible opponent than Tony, but apparently Foreman was too tall (there obviously being a significant gap in height between Margarito and Foreman.)

I'm not a Manny fan outside of the ring and think most of his fans need to get off his d!ck but at the same time you have to acknowledge that Manny came up the hard way. no one gave him ***** he came up dirt poor from a 2nd / 3rd world country and managed to become a icon and beat legends with fights he was supposed to lose against . He wasnt supposed to be this good he earned his spot among the greats. He deserves praise and respect for that

I also think after the Oscar fight he became protected maximum revenue with little risk as possible.
