30 in April been boxing and watching boxing since around 21 been better at keeping up with boxing training-wise than keeping up with whats going on in the sport over the past years
I'll be 29 on April 10th. Started watching boxing in my early years in P.R. Watched Camacho & Chavez SR fights. Then I moved to the states and continued watching Trinidad and ODLH fights. I loved having those family fight parties when I was young. Some of the best memories of my life.
I'm 48. The earliest fight I recall watching was Ali-Foreman (1974). That fight was originally shown on "closed-circuit". I watched the rebroadcast at home. (I'm pretty sure I saw some earlier fights, but Ali-Foreman is one I'm certain I watched.) Around that time, I recall being taken by my dad and some relatives to some live fights at the Audubon Ballroom (where Malcolm X was assassinated) in Upper-Manhattan. Over the years, my focus on the sport has varied. Besides the last four years (when I joined Boxingscene), my greatest concentration on boxing was during the eighties, when the "Fab Four" were mixing-it-up.
Holy **** man lol. Fights weren't televised back home so we had to wait for someone to visit from the States and bring the VHS recording.

VHS recordings? Back in 1965?
No, I watched it live on b&w TV... (But there were few pro fights they aired in my country... They also aired "rumble in the jungle"...)
