What's that got to do with their size?

I agree that Cotto should be figthing at 47, but because of his massive balz he cant make weight.

Miguel Cott's walk around weight is much bigger than people realize. He walks around about the same size as Canelo -- in the 170's. Freddie Roach said this in an interview that Cotto came into training camp in the 170's.

In today's world of boxing, what someone walks around at doesn't matter anymore.guys like Floyd are BHOP stay in top physical shape year round therefore stay close to ideal weight. Some guys like Canelo, Hatton etc just blow up and get out of shape between fights.
It's no coincidence the guys who take their health seriously are some of the best fighters out there.

Cotto and Floyd are the same size, small LMW's. Many observations said Floyd looked bigger than Cotto fight night.

Floyd should be more qualified to fight Sergio as Floyd is supposedly better than Miguel, and also skills pay bills not size.
So Sergio being a small middleweight should be a opponent for Floyd, if only Floyd didn't think too much.

Floyd should think more in the ring, but not too much out of it.

To take it even a step further, look at Floyd vs Canelo at the weigh in. Floyd looks bigger then Canelo. On fight night all the water weight is back and he looks bigger. When your as good as Floyd 10 lbs shouldn't matter especially when you could cement your legacy as one of the best ever.

One would think Mayweather hasn't moved up in weight to make the fights people wanted to see... You're one of the things that is deserving of a laugh on this site; you chastise people for not knowing boxing history, but overlook something that took place in September just gone.

that sounds crazy when you are talking about someone who has already fought in 5 classes and is not even close to making the weight in his 5th class. You talk like Floyd is in his 1st division or has never moved up. Sooner or later you have to stop
