Because he's trying to get Maidana to commit and forget about a fight with Floyd. Chino should be pissed.

If there was not a rematch clause in the contract then Maidana could easily get his handlers/lawyers/team to bring out the original contract and decline the rematch. I'm pretty sure his team isn't ****** enough to not keep a copy of the original contract for circumstances like this. Nobody is being forced to do **** you guys need to quit with the ****** thread and use your heads. If he is legally binded to a rematch clause then it was in the original contract. Either prove there is no rematch cause or stfu and beat Broner's ass again..what's the problem?

If Broner loses again, which could easily happen, his career takes another huge hit.

That is usually how it works when you fight the championship belt holder...the hell is wrong with you people.

You use your head. Maidana works with the same people, GBP and Haymon, as Broner and Floyd. He wouldn't burn bridges like that just to make a point. Doesn't mean he still ain't getting jobbed though.

Hold up. Are Maidana fans saying there shouldn't be a rematch?

Why wouldn't Maidana want this? Was his win a fluke? Are his fans trying to protect him?

Come on guys. If he won so convincingly then why be afraid of a rematch.

No I wanted the Floyd fight for Chino. A Broner rematch does absolutely zip for Maidana's legacy or career.

Because they weren't sure if broner was a coward so they wouldn't want to mention theres a rematch clause then him say he didn't want it

                      Had Broner won.....

Maidana: "I want to exercise my rematch clause"
