At least he wants the rematch. Wlad did not rematch Sanders and Kostya did not rematch Phillips. When you get you as kicked and are willing to risk getting it kicked again, forget your management. Your pride is bigger than that. Had he just moved on never rematching Maidana, I would've jumped off of his wagon asap.

Broner should go down to 140lb.
147lb are too big for his skill set.

Yeah, he becomes another Victor Ortiz that seemed to have so much potential early on.

And Vitali never rematched Chris Byrd.

Broner definitely deserves credit for being willing to get back in there again.

I thought Broner getting humiliated was as hilarious as the next guy, but Maidana straight ambushed his ass. Broner wasn't ready at all. He was so busy living in that fantasy land that he had scripted in his mind that when he finally realized he was in a real fight -- it was already too late. Maidana had a tremendous game plan and jumped on him from the opening bell before AB even knew what hit him. Sure there's no doubt that Broner was completely over hyped and overrated, he's just an average at best guy at welter, but him beating Maidana in a rematch is far from out of the question. I like Maidana a lot but he's not some unbeatable force.

If Broner comes in completely business like from the opening bell, and ready to fight, I could see him taking it in a rematch. And of course, I could also see him getting KTFO this time as well. But one thing is for certain -- a replay of the first fight isn't happening. I mean in the sense that this time Broner will be forced to be ready for anything and everything. He wasn't in the first fight. He didn't envision what took place happening in a million years. Now he knows what could happen, and I gotta assume that he'll be prepared mentally this time around for that.

Broner probably will win the rematch (barely) after getting time to review his performance but he should have won the first time. Broner will do a lot of running and holding next time out so it may make for a rather ugly n lack luster fight.

I'm not a Broner fan. But I give him respect for wanting to get back in the ring after receiving an ass whooping. But I don't see anything that Broner can change for him to win a rematch. He's not built for 147. I honestly think he would lose I most names in that weight class.. He should listen to his people and move to 140... Even if he just boxes Miadana all night, I don't think he has te punch output to match up with maidana and I think he gets rocked again. But props to him for wanting to avenge his loss.. Kinda reminds me of JuanMa.. Good luck to Broner.

I agree, all Broner really has to do is box and move..maidana really is not that good, he packs a hell of a punch but technically Hes an average fighter.

Broner won't beat Maidana by running. He needs to let his fists go. He can't sit back and do what he did last fight. Broner has a lot of early ko's. He has to get back to that attack mode early in fights to have a chance this time around. Otherwise his goose is cooked.
