That's just a perk of retirement, not the reason for it lol.

      Joe was a joke!

Joe C. was a joke because although he had talent, he lacked HEART! He fought an old Roy and a past his prime Hopkins and they both put him on his ass early! Let's be honest, if they were both younger, he would have been KNOCKED out period! Instead he retired like a Bi!@#! to keep his O!

Doesn't matter what some say, Calzaghe was one of the best boxers I had ever seen. He stepped up when people swore he wouldn't and he retired undefeated and at the top of his game.

right, fought the guy people claimed was the next Tyson and beat him to pieces. He came across the "pond" and beat Bernard and Roy in THEIR own weight divisions and in THEIR backyard. This past primed Hopkins is still dogging out guys half his age so he must not have been that bad when Joe fought him then I guess.

Yea I think he left the sport a little early I think there were other fighters out there he could've fought truth be told I think after his last fight I think he just liked getting high on coke one would think once you go down that path it's hard to turn back he wasn't complaining about his hands when he fought jones or Hopkins.
Hand problems did for Hamed too. Had a pretty good career Joe, but it wasn't what it could have been.
This is exactly how I feel about his career.

Tend to agree with this. Slap at the heavy bag for so many years and you'll have screwed up hands and wrists too.
