Everybody knows Joe whipped B-Hop with 2 bad hands, just imagine what Joey Zags would've done with 2 good hands, B-hop would've been kissing the canvas.

    B-hop caught a lucky break.

Should of followed in Cheatweathers footsteps and only choose to fight in Nevada States so he can inject his hands with a steroid that numbs his hands down for him.

Hahahaha he also hit the bottle aswell!

Joe Calzaghe and Ricky Hatton were probably snorting some ******* off a couple of **********s aswell, ah our British breed of fighters don't know **** about looking after themselves after retiring.

A fight with Roy in his prime would have been a bigger payday. Joe wanted to beat a badly faded Roy for decent money. Anyone with any boxing knowledge knows prime Joe couldn't have held a candle to Roy when he was even close to not being shot. Joe took advantage of circumstance. Now, I don't blame him for it because he was a good/great fighter trying to earn respect, but call it what it was. He wanted nothing to do with Roy while he was near his peak. That's a fact.

Joe was a SMW world champ in 1997. Jones didn't get shot until 2003 and Bhop didn't lose his belts until 2005. Excuses, excuses.

slapping with the inside of your hands(not even legal in boxing) for your entire career leads to hand injuries? i refuse to believe this.

But IMO JC kind of downplays his injuries, and only brings it up once in a while which suprises me. If you cant train you cant expect to fight, yet he brings up the subject of coming out of retirement sometimes as well?
sure if you count early stoppages. do we have to post all the ko vids again?

Calzaghe was a class act that walked away at the right time. He was lucky he was able to do that. sometimes fighters have no choice but to fight on in spite of pain of physical challenges. Boxing is all some people know, they spend many years training and fighting so when its time to walk away to another life they can't do that so easily. And this is a grim reality to face, to know when you get in the ring chances are you're going to get hurt worse. Not a good thought.
